Parents as Teacher

The Leopold R-III School District is looking a part-time Parents as Teacher Educator. PAT Educators are responsible for helping families of pre-school aged children select/support developmentally appropriate activities and learning opportunities in an effort to prepare children to successfully transitioning to the school environment.  Applicants must have 40 credit hours of college credit and must complete virtual training upon hiring.  Candidates can fill out and submit an application at leopold.k12.mo.us or submit application to Mrs. Dana Beussink via email at dbeussink@leopold.k12.mo.us

K-12 Principal

The Leopold R-III School District has an opening for a K-12 Principal position for the 2026-2027 school year.  Required qualifications: Master’s degree in an approved program for principal certification, K-12 principal’s certification or the ability to obtain a K-12 principal’s certification before August 1, 2026, a minimum of five years teaching experience, effective communication skills, skills in conflict management,  and the ability to work effectively with community groups, parents, and agencies.  Submit a current resume, completed application, three letters of professional reference, and a cover letter to Mrs. Dana Beussink at dbeussink@leopold.k12.mo.us.  Applications can be obtained and submitted on the school website (leopold.k12.mo.us).  If you have further questions, please contact the school at (573) 238-2211.
