Leopold Beta Club takes part in many activities throughout the school year.  This includes working at fundraisers, volunteering, and attending the Missouri state Beta convention. Below are some examples of this involvement.

Fundraising

The Leopold club works two biannual breakfasts as well as making and selling dumplings one to two times each year.  The earnings from this goes towards costs to attend the annual Missouri state Beta convention.

Caitlin Petty, Denai Arnzen, and Ethan Broshuis all work hard at an early morning “Beta Breakfast.”

Many members work together at a dumpling making fundraiser.

Volunteering

Leopold Betas volunteer in several activities throughout the community. These activities include a tutoring program, raising money for St. Jude’s Hospital, bell ringing for the Salvation Army, and various other events.

Katie Stone helps younger students by volunteering as an afterschool tutor.

Installation

Each year, new members are inducted at an installation ceremony which includes a speaker and a recitation of Beta values by the club officers.

Former Beta, Rachel Crader, speaks about the possitive effects Beta has had on her life.

Club President, Joseph Elfrink, speaks to the assembly about some of the core values of being a Beta

New club members recite the Beta pledge.
