a Masters of Arts degree from SEMO, also in Elementary Education. I further
continued my education by completing a grade 7-12 English certification.

I have been teaching high school English the remainder of the time. I also serve as the coach of the Scholar Bowl team and co-sponsor for the Leopold Beta Club. This is my 30th year to have the privilege of working with the Beta Club.

Homework
I do not assign homework for homework’s sake. Students are given class time to complete assignments, but will occasionally have to complete a project on their own time. However, if they use class time wisely, the amount of homework should be minimal. Also, before every test, students will have some type of study materials to use to prepare for tests. These study materials may be notes, reviews, study guides, or textbook sections.
Family (Optional)
I have been married for 38 years and have 4 children and
a granddaughter.
Other Interests/Hobbies
I love sports! Baseball, softball, volleyball, and basketball are my favorites.
I love to watch the Cardinals play. I also spending time with my family. Sunday
dinners are a treat.
Memorable Events
My wedding, birth of my children, accomplishments of my children, and special “teaching”
memories, which always include special students, rate as memorable events for
me.
