High School English
I graduated from Southeast Missouri State
University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I later received
a Masters of Arts degree from SEMO, also in Elementary Education. I further
continued my education by completing a grade 7-12 English certification.
This is my 36th year teaching in the Leopold R-III School District. I taught fourth grade for five years, and sixth grade for 29 years. I have been teaching high school English the remainder of the time. I also serve as the coach of the Scholar Bowl team and co-sponsor for the Leopold Beta Club. This is my 30th year to have the privilege of working with the Beta Club.

These study materials may be notes, reviews, study guides, or textbook sections.
I have been married for 38 years and have 4 children and
I love sports! Baseball, softball, volleyball, and basketball are my favorites. I love to watch the Cardinals play. I also spending time with my family. Sunday dinners are a treat.
My wedding, birth of my children, accomplishments of my children, and special “teaching” memories, which always include special students, rate as memorable events for me.
