Educational Background
I have an Associates
of Arts in General Studies with a minor in German from Missouri Southern State
University and a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science with an emphasis
in Biology from Southeast Missouri State University. I have a Masters of
Natural Science with an emphasis in Biology and complementary focus area of
Environmental Science from Southeast Missouri State University.
Teaching Experience
I have been teaching middle school and high school science at Leopold R-III since 2008. Currently, I also teach Biology for Living-BS108 for Southeast Missouri State University through Leopold R-III. Prior to teaching, I worked in the field of wildlife conservation at Mingo National Wildlife Refuge and taught as a graduate assistant at Southeast Missouri State University, where I discovered my interest in teaching.
Family
I live in the Glennon area with my
husband, Keith, and our two children, Joshua and Caroline.
Other Interests/Hobbies
I enjoy various activities including canning, turkey hunting, fishing,
and spending time with my family.
Memorable Events
Skydiving at 16 years old, but you'll have to wait for my lesson on terminal velocity to hear the rest of the story...
