Plans
for this year
My plans in physical education this year are the same that they are every year. Motivate each student to be their best whether it is in the classroom or on the playing court. I will be teaching both boys and girls physical education classes both rules and regulations about how to officiate basketball and volleyball. We will again be doing a wide variety of team, individual, and lifetime sports as well. On the basketball floor for both Junior High and High School our motto is ALL IN, the kids have really bought into that. I am excited for everyone to see our improvement during the upcoming season.
Family
I am very close to
my family. My mother Sandra has worked for the Henry County Assessor’s Office
in Clinton, Mo for 30 years, and my father Shawn after many years in
construction has been working for KCP&L since 2001. I have a younger
brother Eric who recently graduated from the University of Missouri with his Masters in Accounting. On July 16th 2016 I married my wife Kristie (Thiele) Brownsberger.
You will hopefully be able to meet all of them as they plan to attend as many
Wildcat games as possible.
Other Interests/Hobbies
I am a diehard
Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs fan. I love all Mizzou Athletics, as
well as my alma mater UCM (the defending Division 2 Basketball National
Champions). I love spending time with friends and family especially my wife, and being in the gym.
I frankly have no idea what I would be doing with coaching and teaching.
Memorable Events
Marrying my wife Kristie this past summer.
Being the first from my family to attend and graduate from college.
Being a part of a team at UCM that won back to back conference regular season championships as well as winning the conference tournament in 2012-2013.
Being hired here
at Leopold High School and given the privilege to coach and teach for a great
school and community.
