Educational Background
I graduated from Jackson High School.
I attended Southeast Missouri State University and graduated with a major
in business administration. I then returned to Southeast Missouri State and
took some additional classes at the University of Arkansas to complete a major
in mathematics and completed the requirements for a lifetime certification to teach
mathematics in high school.
Teaching Experience
I started teaching
and coaching basketball at Leopold High School in 1984. In 1989 I moved
to Scott City High School to teach mathematics and coach basketball. In
1991 I started teaching and coaching at Meadow Heights High School. Then,
in 1992, I returned to Leopold high school to continue teaching and
coaching. At the end of the 2004-2005 basketball season I retired from my
head coaching position after 20 years as a head basketball coach. I
