Educational Background

Graduated Cum Laude at Southeast Missouri State University in 2012. During my time there, I was president of Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society, a member of Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honors Society, and a member of Phi Kappa Phi Education Honors Society.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching at Leopold ever since the 2013-2014 school year.

Plans for this year

I am always looking forward to watching my students grow as readers, writers, and life-long learners. As usual, I am working to improve aspects of my classroom-ACT prep, vocabulary, grammar, and essay writing-that better prepare my students for their future careers.

Family

I am happily married to Mike Robins. We live in Marble Hill.

Other Interests/Hobbies

I love reading, writing, baking, playing video games, and watching movies. Most of all, I love spending time with my cats.

Organizations (professional/community)

I am proud to be an officer of Southeast Missouri English Teachers Association. We have a conference every fall that is always a lot of fun. Also, I am currently working on my M.A. in English Studies at Southeast Missouri State University.

Memorable Events

I was married on May 31st 2014 to a wonderful man in front of all of my friends and family. That was probably the best day of my life. I went to Germany in 2016 to visit some college friends. I saw the Berlin Wall and the Brandenburg Gate!
