We will have math homework almost nightly. English homework is more sporadic. Students need to keep up with SRC reading and vocabulary tests on their own, though.
If you get stuck or forget something, call a friend or call me (573-579-1099). I'm more than happy to help if I can.
My husband and I married in June of 1997, and moved to Slidell, LA, because he was stationed in New Orleans with the Coast Guard. There's really no place like home, so we moved back in 1998 when he was discharged. He currently works as the Dispatcher at Big River Communications in Cape.
Our son was born in September of 2001, just days before the 9/11 attacks. He has quite a sense of humor and keeps us cracking up most of the time. He enjoys farming with my dad on the family farm during the summer and on weekends. The other two “members” of the family are Rosie and Cookie, the dogs. Rosie is half basset hound, half boxer. Cookie is a terrier mutt who joined the family when I was gone on senior trip in 2009.
I love to read, which probably lead to my becoming an English teacher. I used to sneak a flashlight to bed with me when I was a kid so I could read under the covers so my parents wouldn't yell at me to go to sleep. I read as much as I can now, but I don't have as much spare time. I also enjoy various crafts and cooking. Mostly, I like to spend any free time I have relaxing or spending time with family and friends.
