I graduated high school from Francis Howell Central High School in St. Louis. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) in 2009. In 2011 I graduated from SEMO again, this time with my Master's Degree in Elementary Education.
Teaching
Experience
I completed my student teaching in
St. Louis at Seckman High School and various elementary schools in
the Hazelwood School District. I have 15
years of experience in teaching private music lessons for: voice, guitar,piano, oboe, clarinet, bass guitar,
trumpet, saxophone, and flute. I taught at a small private school in Cape Girardeau, MO for 3
years.There, I taught general music K-6, band, choir, orchestra, drama, and reading. I have two years of experience
teaching Spanish I, as well as one year of experience teaching English, Writing, and Literature. This is my sixth year as an Elementary, Middle School, and High School Music Teacher.

Family
I grew up in St. Louis
(specifically in St. Peters) MO. I am the middle child of three. I am married and we have a beautiful daughter.

Interests/Hobbies
Spending time with my family, reading, writing, and recording music, producing and composing songs, painting my nails, shopping, EATING, cooking, playing (and coaching) softball, learning new instruments, crafting.
Memorable Events
My wedding day! Watching my baby girl grow up, getting to meet and perform with two of my favorite artists, singing the National Anthem for over 3,000 people, and when my first song was professionally produced.
